Mindful Mates Social Services

Mindful Mates Social Services is a veteran-founded mental health and wellbeing practice based in Brisbane, and provide trauma-informed counselling, group programs, and community education to help people strengthen their mental fitness and reconnect with what matters most.

 

While our roots are in supporting veterans and first responders, we proudly work with individuals, families, and workplaces across the wider community. Our goal is to make support simple, accessible, and grounded in real-world experience, as Josh brings lived experience as both an RAAF veteran, and a former Paramedic.

Psychologists specialise in guiding people to explore their thoughts and feelings to better understand what is causing them concern or discomfort.

Through this gentle process, psychologists then help provide education and ‘exercises for the mind’ to help those with mental health concerns experience relief and better manage long term with greater life fulfilment.
